2026 STATE of ORIGIN

​​​The Top 7 Victorian Teams and Top 7 New South Wales teams in our 2026 Team of the Year at the completion of the final round (Best 2 of 3 events) will be invited to participate in our inaugural STATE of ORIGIN event which will be held at Lake Hume in March 2027.   

 

Each team's combined 10 best Golden Perch for the event will go towards the Total State's score.  The State with the biggest combined length of 70 Golden Perch will be declared the CHAMPION STATE.

 

Each team member will receive a State Representative Shirt.    

A meal & Drinks will be provided for all participants on the Saturday night.

In 2028 the State of Origin will be hosted on a NSW Lake.
